Hi my name is Caitlin Tai, female Chiropractor here at My Sports Chiropractor, Kingsgrove.
I spent my most of my childhood running, climbing, and sometimes falling. My parents decided they couldn’t cope if they had another child like me, so I was their last child. My “go-get-em” attitude lead me becoming a chiropractic patient aged just three and this sparked my curiosity into chiropractic.
After sustaining a shoulder injury in my earlier years and experiencing the frustrations associated with being sidelined with an injury, I realised that I did not want others to suffer like me. This lead me to pursue further studies into chiropractic and sports injury management.
After seeing the benefits of chiropractic and the impact it has had on my life, I now want to help people transition from patients to directors of their own health.
I incorporate a wide variety of techniques into my treatments, including:
- Deep tissue myofascial releases
- Chiropractic joint manipulations
- Active release techniques
- Exercise rehabilitation
- Kinesio and rigid taping techniques
I invest in my health every day, combining healthy eating, an active lifestyle, regular gym sessions, and an emphasis on quality sleep. I have worked with people who have disabilities, understand the issues involved in chronic illness and believe that investing in your health always pays off.
Aside from chiropractic the outdoors is my resting place, and on my day’s off, I can be found swimming, snorkeling, camping, or fishing. I aspire to have my own dog (or three) who can join both my partner and I on our weekend adventures.
